School Council

We think children should have responsibility for their school and play an active part in its running. By doing this they not only learn to value their community more but also gain many other important skills. This is why our school council is very important to us.

All classes from year two to year six elect a councillor. The school councillors meet regularly to provide feedback from the children about things which are working well in the school and things they would like to improve further. Being a school councillor is a very responsible position and a great experience for our children. They are a very powerful group who really get things done in the school!
